FIBREGLASS REINFORCED PLASTIC GRATING

Super floor grating is an integral construction one-piece fiberglass roving reinforced unsaturated polyester resin (FRP) grating. This grating is typically composed of 60-65% by weight resin and immensely strong continuous glass fiber by a specially designed process that provides a property of good corrosion resistance, angular silica particles are em- bedded in the top surface of grating to provide longlasting slip resistant surface.

Continuous glass fiber roving winding in alternating layers in two directions is thoroughly wetted with polyester resin. When load applied to a grating bar is transferred to adjoining cross bars and bearing bars, assisting in load distribution on the grating providing the grating a very high strength.

The grating is non-conductive and non- magnetic, beautiful appearance, ease of installation and maintenance free. Due to these unique properties Super grating has been widely used by petrochemical, metallurgic, electric power and electronic, water-supply & drainage, food & beverage, municipal construction and environment, civilian construction industries etc.. Our users are distributed over domestic and foreign countries.

Molded Grating

Pultruded GratingComparing with other floor materials, FRP molded grating provides a series of benefits, unmatched impact resistance, while the strength-weight-ratio is only one-fourth of that of steel grating. It is easy to cut and install. FRP molded grating is made of continuous fiberglass fully soaked by unsaturated polyester resin with continuous solidification through mould system, whose uniform structure provides perfect bi-directional mechanical properties.

FRP molded grating has perfect corrosion resistance. Different resin has different property of corrosion resistance. The resins being widely used include orthophthalic polyester resin, isophthalic polyester, vinyl ester resin. Vinyl ester grating provides extremely corrosion resistance.

FRP pultruded grating is assembled pultruded H-sections or T-sections linked by rod per distance into panel. The distance is decided by an open area rate. Pultruded grating provides extremely high unidirectional strength and stiffness, since H-section or T-section can provide great mechanical load whereas tubes do not provide mechanical load just work as connector. Pultruded grating is stronger than molded grating because of the higher glass content in pultruded products.

FRP pultruded grating can span long distance for any given load. Of cause, pultruded grating can be gritted or covered panel. However molded grating is more corrosion resistant than pultruded grating using the same resin system.

The surface of FRP molded grating can be concave top, flat top, grit top,Decorative Pattern Cover,Grit Cover and Smooth Cover.
